Athletics

Our after-school athletics program is available to girls and boys in grades 4-8. Our program is part of the Christian Athletic League. We offer basketball, soccer, and volleyball, as well as flag football, and track in our after-school sports program. The Athletic program is founded upon the goals and criteria of St. Raphael School. The Athletic program educates a life-long sense for health and well-being. The program provides equal opportunity for all students to learn about sportsmanship, develop skills, and exercise leadership. Through the “no-cut” policy, everyone has the opportunity to be on the team, regardless of size or experience. The program promotes self-discipline, responsibility, and decision-making as well as learning the benefits of cooperation and respect for other people. Each student has the opportunity to apply skills in situations commensurate with or challenge his or her interest and skill level.
